			*Mudima Foundation* was founded in 1988 by Gino Di Maggio in Milan with the aim to present the interdisciplinary researches of those artists that were moving on the boundary between the different art fields, connecting visual arts with contemporary literature, music and new multimedia expressions. The purposes of the foundation are merely cultural and it does not manage any commercial activity on the exhibited works, neither in its own spaces in Milan nor in the museums and public spaces in the world where the exhibitions are moved after Milan. The foundation organized and exhibited in Milan one-man shows by Allan Kaprow, Yoko Ono, Daniel Spoerri, Nam June Paik, Marcel Duchamp, Cesar, Arman, Piero Manzoni, Ben Vautier, Joseph Beuys, Takako Saito, Ben Patterson, Milan Knizak, Sandro Chia, Lee U Fan, Kazuo Shiraga, Kim Moon Seup, in most of the cases asking the artist a project specifically conceived for its spaces. A long term collaboration with musicians like John Cage, La Monte Young and Giuseppe Chiari led to numerous concerts or public events in Italy and abroad, as the Polyphonix Festival (Milan-Paris 1984-1990), the Fluxus & Fluxus Festival (Milan, 1996) or the John Cage exhibition at the Venice Biennial in 1993.

(video, color, sound)	VIDEO PERFORMANCE VIDEO Open Video Projects presents "Performance Video Performance," a selection of works from the archive that range from performance of their own medium to that of documenting a performing subject. The screening begins by presenting self-referential works that address the electronic and tactile materiality of video and film. That same self-referential theme is carried on in later works by their play with film language and the use of the camera's own vernacular such as camera movement, duration, and point of view as a fundamental function for communication. By returning as a protagonist, the camera then passes from addressing film language as a reflexive tool to an apparatus for documenting an action by becoming part of the action itself. The screening concludes with works where the camera assumes a more passive role while maintaining a consciousness of the present by documenting actions or performances without any manipulation by editing.
