Open Video Projects presents ScreenSaver, an itinerant video program that investigates the relationship of cinema and art. The element of reflexivity is the connective fabric in this selection of artists’ film and video: reflexivity used as a creative tool and as a point of departure for the analysis of artistic and cinematic language. Traveling from darkened theaters to contemporary art exhibition spaces, the ScreenSaver program is itself a mode of reflexivity, shifting the viewer through spaces where cinema becomes art and art becomes cinema. ScreenSaver is curated by Sarra Brill, Giovanna Felluga and Lorenzo Benedetti and including works by:

Elisabetta Benassi
Johanna Billing
Keren Cytter
Ra di Martino
Jesper Just
Ursula Mayer
Olaf Nicolai
Manuel Saiz
Mathew Sa wyer
