Light Diagrams
2006, 3:04 min. (video, color, sound)

These actions serve as a metaphor on how our sensible intervention on reality creates the voids for living spaces.

Survival Structures
2006, 3:44 min. (video, color, sound)

A group of children come together to compete in a puertorrican game. Once in the game they become aware of their own weaknesses. Violence is our own instinctive survival practice. The use of violence equals inertia and death to the other and make us aware of our own vulnerability.

LOURDES CORREA-CARLO

"I’m interested in the disintegration of boundaries between art and social space, to confront the viewer with aesthetic experiences that may inspire changes in the perception of social and personal space; human behavior as a modifier and generator of common places."
-Lourdes Correa Carlo
