TYLER COBURN

Tyler Coburn is a New York and London based artist who utilizes various media to explore the liminal zones between cultural ecstasy and melancholy. Past projects include a collaboration with The Centre of Attention for Pilot 2: London; a video-text work with author Amy Prior for Opium Magazine; and an animated music video for NYC band Grizzly Bear.  Coburn’s videos have screened at the Whitechapel Gallery (London), AMODA (Austin Museum of Digital Art) and Galapagos (Brooklyn, NY), among others.  The artist habitually succumbs to the pleasures of freezer-frozen waffles and can be currently found in British environs, biking around and building conceptual karaoke installations.
